We have both visited Spain many times, both together and individually. Our stops before 2010 included:
Madrid
Toledo
Barcelona
Tarragona
Malaga and Gibraltar
In 2018 we came to the country for the first time in a dozen years, and went south for a short stay in Granada – and to visit its famous Alhambra.
In 2022, we made a long overdue visit to the north on a driving trip from Portugal. We stayed in four World Heritage cities (the top of the list) and visited several other heritage sites:
Salamanca
Bilbao
Zaragoza
Toledo
Cáceres
Burgos
Altamira
San Millan
Merida
